Directions to the CDC
The Child Development Center is located behind Central Presbyterian Church. The church is at Washington Street and Martin Luther King Drive, across from the State Capitol. The Child Development Center is located off Martin Luther King Drive, between Washington Street and Central Ave.
PLEASE NOTE: We recommend you follow our directions below, not the directions available on Google Maps or Mapquest. Mapping programs will give you directions to our official mailing address (the church around the corner from our entrance), and there is no parking.
From I-75/85 SOUTH
Exit at Martin Luther King Jr. Dr. This feeds onto MLK Jr. Dr. Move to the second lane from left. Immediately after the third traffic light (Washington Street), park on MLK, at the side of the building. Walk along the sidewalk behind the building. The Child Development Center is the second door on your left.
FROM I-75/85 NORTH
Exit at Central Ave. Follow the exit ramp to Central Ave. Turn right on to Mitchell. Turn left on to Capitol. Turn left on to Martin Luther King Jr. Dr. Move to the second lane from left. Immediately after the next traffic light (Washington St.), park on MLK, at the side of the building. Walk along the sidewalk behind the building. The Child Development Center is the second door on your left.
FROM I-20 WEST
Exit at Capitol Ave. At the end of the ramp, turn right onto Capitol Ave. Turn left on to Martin Luther King Jr. Dr. Move to the second lane from left. Immediately after the next traffic light (Washington St.), park on MLK, at the side of the building. Walk along the sidewalk behind the building. The Child Development Center is the second door on your left.
FROM I-20 EAST
Exit on to Spring Street. Turn right on to Mitchell. Turn left on to Capitol. Turn left at Martin Luther King Jr. Dr. Move to the second lane from left. Immediately after the next traffic light (Washington St.), park on MLK, at the side of the building. Walk along the sidewalk behind the building. The Child Development Center is the second door on your left.
